Our Grants
Grants will be made based on the needs of the project/charity and funding for revenue and project specific capital requirements for up to three years will be considered. Unrestricted core funding will also be considered for charities aligned most closely to the current focus of the Trust.
Current Focus
Trustees are particularly interested in supporting charities serving vulnerable children and young people from, though not exclusively, care experienced backgrounds in the Glasgow area. For example, charities seeking to improve the lives of and ultimately empower beneficiaries through:
- positive interventions and opportunities
- trauma informed mentoring
- services that help transition care experienced young people into independent living
- Education, culture and skills training
Unsolicited Applications
Unsolicited applications from charities seeking funding within this remit will be welcomed.
Other Funding at Trustees Discretion
At their discretion, Trustees will continue to make awards to organisations across the Trust’s wider remit, including to promote participation in sport, and in response to the needs of their own local and some international communities. Applications will be by invitation only in these cases.
It should be noted that awards to medical and animal charities are unlikely to be made.
